Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have separated and plan to divorce after more than two years of marriage!

Scarlett Johansson, the 26-year-old actress/singer, and Ryan Reynolds, the 34-year-old X-Men Origins: Wolverine star, announced their split in a joint statement to People, "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage.”

“We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

Sources say Iron Man 2 star Johansson initiated the split, and she ended the marriage two weeks ago. According to an Us Weekly source, "The big problem with their relationship is the distance. They spent a lot of time apart when they are working...She's been unhappy for a while."

Johansson and Reynolds began dating in 2007. The two got engaged in May 2008 and tied the knot that September at a quiet ceremony in Vancouver, Canada.

Michael C. Hall and his wife Jennifer Carpenter, who play brother and sister Dexter and Deb Morgan on the Showtime series Dexter, have called it quits after two years of marriage.

"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce", the reps for the couple confirmed the spilt to Entertainment Weekly.

Jennifer, 31, and Michael, 39, began dating in 2007. The Dexter co-stars and on-screen siblings married on New Years Eve in 2009.

Jennifer famously stood by Michael during his battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Just hours after denying reports that they were planning to divorce, the 35-year-old Desperate Housewives actress filed the documents at a Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday morning, citing 'irreconcilable difference' as the reason for the split, according to a report from People.

It was rumored that Tony Parker was having an affair with a mutual female friend of the couple’s. US Weekly has also reported Parker has been caught exchanging personal texts with her “for nearly a year -- hundreds in just one month”.

“Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal,” a friend of Eva’s said. “Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over. Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him. She’s inconsolable." added another pal.

Eva and Tony met in 2004. They were engaged in November 2006 and tied the knot in France back in July of 2007. The two have no children together.

It was also reported that Tony Parker, the 28-year-old NBA star, had filed for divorce on Monday in Texas.

Rumors circulated that Tony Parker was the first one who filed for divorce. TMZ first reported the breaking news yesterday that the 28-year-old basketball player filed papers on Monday in Texas.

According to People, Longoria was "totally and completely blindsided" by reports appearing this week of infidelity by her NBA star husband. She plans to file for divorce “as early as Wednesday”.

Longoria and Parker have been married since July of 2007. The two have no children together.

Nancy Wilson Divorcing Director Cameron Crowe After 22 Years of Marriage

Nancy Wilson, the 56-year-old singer from rock band Heart, is reportedly divorcing her husband of 22 years, writer/director Cameron Crowe, who directed Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous.

Wilson filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences and listing June 15, 2008 as the date of the separation. She is also seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children and has asked the court for spousal support, People reported.

Wilson and Crowe first met in 1982 and got married on July 23, 1986. The couple have 10-year-old twin boys named William James Crowe and Curtis Wilson Crowe.

The rocker has also composed and produced music for some of her husband’s films including Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, and Vanilla Sky. Crowe was also a contributing editor at Rolling Stone magazine, for which he still frequently writes.

Spencer Pratt has responded to Heidi Montag’s decision just a few hours after she officially filed for divorce Friday in Santa Monica, Calif. Superior Court.

"I love Heidi but our marriage was a show – it was part of The Hills world, And that world is on a sound stage." Pratt, 26, told People Friday.

When asked about the reason for the split, the reality star said: “It’s clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag’s ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world.”

"Some say if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen, Well, Heidi couldn't handle King Spencer's fame so she got out of the marriage." Pratt added.

The Hills stars began dating in 2006. They wed in November 2008 and again in April 2009. Montag, 23, filed for legal separation from Pratt two months ago, citing irreconcilable differences in her petition.

“Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” her lawyer, Jodeane Farrell, tells People magazine.

"The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce."
